Description of Work Unit

The Department of Statistics at Colorado State University currently comprises 20 faculty and over 50 graduate students, and has a network of faculty affiliates at nearby research agencies (National Center for Atmospheric Research, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others). Our faculty members have a wide range of expertise and are involved in various interdisciplinary graduate training and research activities.

Fort Collins, the home of Colorado State University, is located one hour north of Denver, in a beautiful location along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Fort Collins is an appealing city of almost 160,000 that offers a pleasant climate with abundant recreational and cultural opportunities nearby. Position Summary

The Department of Statistics seeks applicants throughout the academic year from individuals who are interested in obtaining postdoctoral research experience in the area of statistics and related areas. Individuals in those positions are expected to conduct a program of research in collaboration with one or more faculty members in the Department of Statistics and to teach a limited number of courses. A teaching load of one to two courses per semester is expected. The open positions may be temporary. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding. Required Job Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a related discipline.
