Toyon Research Corporation Facility Security Officer/Office Operations Specialist in Fort Collins, Colorado
U.S. Citizenship Required. This position will require a current TOP SECRET clearance. Candidate must be SAP and SCI eligible.
This position is in person, on site, at our office in Ft. Collins, Colorado.

The successful candidate will continually work to develop positive and productive relationships with employees within the corporation as well as external government and industry customers. We are looking for an Industrial Security Generalist who has a good understanding of Security Procedures in a Cleared Defense Contractor environment, and is interested in learning more. Resourcefulness, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
This candidate will become familiar with security requirements for technical contracts, as necessary to perform duties as a Facility Security Officer and Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for Special Programs. The applicant will perform all facets of security work including physical security, document control, and classified meeting support. This position also provides the opportunity to be an integral part of a team responsible for building, accrediting and operating an ICD 705 / TEMPEST special facility.
Responsibilities will include:
FSO and CPSO requirements for a TOP SECRET level facility Document control, visit requests, and inspection support Docusign Envelope ID: A574F9CF-2FA4-4616-832E-D5018B23E7A5 2 of 2 Creating and maintaining documents such as Self-Inspection Checklists, SOPs, CONOPs, etc. Administering security indoctrination briefings, refresher trainings and debriefings Provide training and awareness on emergency response protocols, and safety guidelines for employees Oversight for secure builds to the standards of the ICD705 Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to security incidents, audits, and training activities Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures Coordination of physical security systems such as access control and intrusion detection Performing Information System Security Manager (ISSM) tasks to include support of computer audits, virus definitions, back-ups and accreditations Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial security environment Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders Strong customer service orientation Able to adapt to new tasks and meet challenging timelines The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and problem solve Proficient with Windows applications Security + Certification Excellent writing skills Bachelor's degree preferred WE OFFER AN EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PACKAGE!

The pay range for the Facility Security Officer/Office Operations Specialist position is $75,000 to $115,000.
The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives. Toyon Research Corporation will consider the individual candidate's education, work experience, applicable knowledge, skills and training, among other factors, when preparing an offer of employment.
