Job Description:
Parsons is looking for several levels of amazingly talented Cloud System Administrators (Cloud SA) to join our team! In this role you will get to execute Service Tier Management requirements for each CSP. Primarily focused on the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of cloud systems. Ensuring the operational health and performance of cloud. environments.
What You'll Be Doing:
System Administration:
Manage and maintain cloud-based systems and applications.
Perform routine administrative tasks such as user management, backups, and patching.
Monitoring and Performance Management:
Monitor system performance and availability.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Security Administration:
Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls, access controls, and encryption.
Ensure systems are compliant with security policies and regulations.
Troubleshooting and Incident Response:
Respond to and resolve system-related issues and incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Backup and Recovery:
Manage backup and recovery processes.
Ensure data integrity and availability.
Configuration Management:
Maintain system configurations and ensure consistency across environments.
Use configuration management tools to automate repetitive tasks.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Generate reports on system performance, security, and usage.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have a current/active Secret or above clearance.
Levels and Degrees with experience.
Junior – BS and 2-4 years of experience in this field
Mid-Level – BS and 5-9 years of experience in this field
Sr. Level -BS and 10+ years of experience in this field
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Currently have a Security+ certification
Strong understanding of cloud platform systems and service tier management.
Experience with administering and maintaining centralized network architecture.
Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
Ability to set up and deploy public and/or private cloud systems.
Familiarity with automated provisioning and operational management.
Experience with monitoring and altering systems using prescribed methodologies.
Capability to establish and implement standards for cloud operations.
Proficiency in automated configuration-managed repeatable processes.
Experience with re-designing or re-engineering on-prem networks, servers, or systems.
Knowledge of network technologies such as switches and routers.
Ability to create and maintain custom scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.
Strong documentation and diagramming skills for IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with RMF activities and continuous monitoring plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Salary Range:
$86,700.00 - $176,600.00
