Position Summary As a Commercial Loan Support Specialist, you will handle various tasks such as performing checkbacks on loans, organizing financial statements, and assisting Loan Coordinators. The role involves working with third-party vendors, quality control of loan files, and managing documentation. This position also entails high attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexibility and the ability to re-establish priorities based on changing needs are essential for success in this role. Skills & Attributes Needed The following skills and attributes are needed to be successful in your banking career as a Commercial Loan Support Specialist: Strong attention to detail Interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team Ability to work under high stress levels with frequent interruptions and with tight and often changing deadlines. General knowledge of commercial industry and detailed understanding of appropriate regulations and guidelines Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and related product Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion of customer and bank information. Relevant banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required. Approximately six months to 1 year of on-the-job training to become familiar with established loan systems and procedures.
