OLSTEN Staffing is recruiting for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in the Florence SC area. This is a temporary to permanent job opportunity to join forces with a well established company. If you meet the following requirements please click on Apply Now for consideration.

Critical features of this job are as follows:

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair Industrial Control Systems

• Must be proficient in reading electrical schematics

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic power systems

• Make mechanical repairs to equipment and conveyer systems to include gearbox replacement, bearing, sprockets, coupling and chains

• Diagnose and repair issues with PLC controlled equipment.

• Must have extensive electrical troubleshooting experience

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect equipment for potential problems

• Make recommendations for modification of equipment

• Responsible for daily startup or shutdown of plant, observe operations, read and record gauges and instruments

• Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP and Sanitation rules and regulations and company policies

• Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position

• All other related duties as required and requested

• Must have gone through an apprenticeship program or technical school and demonstrated the ability to work without close supervision

• TIG Welding and Fabrication experience is a plus

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as Safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions/manuals

• Ability to effectively write routine reports and correspondence

• Excellent ability to speak English with the ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal and written communications

• Must have ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume with the ability to apply Algebra and Geometry

• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

• Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, push, pull, twist, bend, reach, lift and use hands for long periods of time

• Ability to distinguish colors

• Must be able to use computers

• Must be familiar with Flow Meters, Gauges, Meters, Hand Tools, Calculators, Anemometers, Thermometers and Measuring Tools

• Must have Forklift and Motorized equipment

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
