Job Description:

Olsten Staffing has an immediate need for an experienced and enthusiastic Culinary Artist to provide nutritious meals and snacks for our church family, serving ages 6 months and up. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere through culinary excellence.

Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00 per hour (or more based on experience)

Hours: 30-35 hours per week, with flexibility for events

Essential Duties:

• Plan and prepare meals and snacks for church events, meetings, and gatherings for 150-200 people.

• Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met.

• Set up dining areas and clean up after events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained.

• Manage inventory and order kitchen supplies as necessary.

• Engage with church members to create a friendly and inviting dining experience.

• Assist in organizing special meals for holidays and community outreach events.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in culinary arts, catering, or food service is required.

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.

• Ability to create diverse and appealing menus.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Passion for serving the community and fostering connections through food.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
