Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies, or subassemblies. This role involves working closely under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager while following detailed verbal or written instructions.
Responsibilities:
Follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies, or subassemblies.
Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids, upon verification of specs from visual aid.
Inspect the parts to ensure assembly is performed correctly.
Use scanners and hand tools for assembly.
Accurately report assembly progress.
Work under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager, or other management as assigned.
Follow safety rules and regulations.
Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills:
Experience in mechanical assembly.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Attention to detail and quality control.
Work Environment:
You will work in a climate-controlled, very clean manufacturing environment.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of , Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
