Genesee County Road Commission Mechanic 2nd Shift in Flint, Michigan

The Genesee County Road Commission is accepting applications for a Mechanic to perform diagnosis and repair of vehicles and equipment that is normally associated with the construction and maintenance of roads. The scope of repair work is wide ranging from small engines such as chainsaws to very large engines such as tractor diesels. Service calls in the field may be required. Comprehensive

benefit package included, but not limited to Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, paid holidays and vacation, pension and deferred compensation. High School Diploma/GED and a Valid Michigan Driver's License are required. Salary range is $22.38 -- $31.56 per hour, based on State of Michigan Mechanic Certifications. The following State Certifications are: Automobiles and Light Trucks -- Engine Repair, Front End, Suspension and Steering Systems, Brakes and Braking Systems, Electrical Systems, Heating and Air Conditioning, Engine Tune-Up/Performance, Automatic Transmissions, Manual Transmissions and Axels. Heavy-Duty Trucks -- Engine Repair -- Diesel, Drive Train, Brakes and Braking Systems, Suspension and Steering Systems, Electrical Systems and Gasoline Engine Repair.
