Agasti, LLC in Flemington, NJ is hiring Java Developers. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science principles and concepts, as well as experience with Java, Java EE and related tools and technologies to perform the following duties: • Develop high-quality software for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly. • Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements. • Work on Java EE application full life cycle development including specifying, building, and deploying on application servers and Web Services applications. • Contribute to the architecture and implementation of changes across our product base. • Collaborate heavily with fellow developers, designers, and analysts to solve problems. • Create and improve existing reusable components. • Optimize web application middle-tier to maximize speed and scale. • Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance. Ensure specified coding rules are followed. • Set and follow Java coding standards. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or any related field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s). In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or any related field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s). Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: • AJAX. • Java or J2EE. • JavaScript. • HTML. • Tomcat server. • NOSQL or SQL. • XML. • Experience with at least one public cloud platform: Azure, GCP, AWS. • Object Oriented JavaScript. No travel; no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
