Robert Half BI Analyst in Findlay, Ohio
Description We are in the process of expanding our team in Findlay, Ohio, with the addition of a Business Intelligence Analyst. This role is primarily concerned with ensuring the precise collection, analysis, and conversion of business data into actionable insights. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you would be tasked with developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to aid strategic decision-making. You would also be improving system integration to guarantee smooth connectivity across various business platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Create both standard and customized reports to summarize business, financial, and economic data for various stakeholders including executives, managers, and clients.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and cost reduction initiatives wherever possible.
• Design, analyze, and maintain financial and business models to aid in decision-making. Participate in corporate budgeting processes and prepare budget cost calculations.
• Design and manage business intelligence tools, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Manage the flow of business intelligence information, ensuring its timely and accurate distribution to users.
• Update and enhance business intelligence tools, databases, and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence tools.
• Conduct and coordinate tests to ensure intelligence aligns with business needs and standards.
• Train associates on database structures, software applications, and analysis techniques.
• Maintain a library of model documents, templates, and reusable assets.
• Document specifications for business intelligence reports, dashboards, and outputs.
• Uphold detail-oriented integrity, maintaining strict confidentiality of any company information that is not common knowledge to all employees or third parties. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in ETL - Extract Transform Load processes
• Proven expertise in using Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features for data manipulation and analysis
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling, with ability to create effective and efficient models for data analysis Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
