Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies appropriate for patient complaints. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating medical and nursing diagnoses, instituting therapy or referrals, and providing emergency treatments or stabilization measures in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories.

• Review patient records and develop comprehensive medical assessments.

• Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies appropriate for the patient’s complaint, race, sex, and physical condition.

• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to the appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and other resources.

• Institute emergency measures and treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.

• Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment.

• Provide instructions and guidance regarding healthcare and health promotion to patients, families, and significant others.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
