Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center Teacher 6-12th Grade - Fayette - Part/Full Time in Fayette, Alabama
Develop and implement appropriate short-term education curriculum for individual residents; provide counsel and guidance to clients as assigned.
Additionally, when we have a student with an individualized education plan (IEP), this role will need to contract with a special education teacher to visit the START Program one or two days each week.
This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor's degree, teacher certification, and 1-3+ years' experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, type 40+ wpm, and be familiar with ACCESS work with the Dept of Education.
- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
- A current/valid non-expired driver's license; be a minimum age of 21; and have an insurable driving record.
Starting Pay Rate: Will discuss during the interview
Schedule:
- Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
- Part-time Monday-Friday 8am-1pm
