Humanetics Innovation Solutions Inc Product Assembly Technician in Farmington Hills, Michigan
- Assemble test fixtures according to print for production orders. Evaluate and test fixtures prior to shipment.
- May assist in performing standard production assembly of test dummies -- which includes determining the centre of gravity (CG) for designated subassemblies by weighing the part on the scale and performing an algebraic equation utilizing the chart
- May assist in performing standard production certification testing according to NHTSA regulations, SAE recommended practices, and/or Humanetics procedures.
- Requires wiring transducers for use in testing and must be able to troubleshoot transducer problems.
- Performs experimental or developmental testing according to specifications set by the Engineering staff.
- Perform scheduled equipment maintenance and calibrations.
- Responsible for visually checking parts to make sure they are correct. File necessary internal CCRs to track non-conformities.
- Assist with the training of customers regarding the use and operation of Test Equipment.
- Inspect and prepare final assembly products for shipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
