EH&S Systems & Data Project Manager

Otis is seeking EHS Systems and Data Project Manager, responsible for managing and overseeing the performance of third-party EH&S data management platforms to ensure they continually meet the needs of the company and its internal stakeholders. The role functions as the interface between the platform vendors, Otis’ internal operations, and company entities to make certain internal and external reporting obligations are fully met in a timely manner.

  • Essential Responsibilities

  • Act as overall system project manager and administrator for third party provided EH&S data management platforms that are directly utilized by global EH&S professionals and in varying degrees by factory and field management, mechanics, and operators. The primary system utilized by Otis at this time is Enablon.

  • Work directly with third-party providers to ensure system performance reliability and that the platforms continually meet the standards and contractual expectations of Otis.

  • Evaluate the impacts of platform upgrades and modifications to ensure transitions are seamless and their effect on end-users is minimal.

  • Manage third-party consulting support, as needed, for platform modifications that cannot be completed internally.

  • Ensure regulatory and Otis reporting changes are effectively integrated into the EH&S data management platforms to make certain all reporting, and compliance obligations are met.

  • Work with Otis global operations and company operating units on an ongoing basis to configure module layouts, functionality, and reports to meet specific needs.

  • Address ever-changing needs, questions, and concerns of system end-users on a timely basis.

  • Provide ongoing training and education on the EH&S data management platforms for existing and new end-users.

  • Manage the World Headquarters EH&S SharePoint site used for collaborating with business regions and for sharing information and best practices.

  • Assess and report out on other EHS best practices and benchmarking from industry and data sources.

  • Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, analytics, project management or other digital technology-related degree. Familiarity with environment, health and safety topics would be a plus.

  • Five plus years of data and or digital management along with project management, with specific duties related to regulatory compliance or EH&S audits

  • Basic Qualifications

  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization and with third party vendors, and others as required

  • Self-directed and possesses the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Possesses strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and data management concepts

  • Demonstrated knowledge of analyzing and reporting data, as well as experience with Tableau, Spotfire or Power BI

  • Demonstrated prior experience with Enablon, or significant experience with EH&S data management solutions, such as Cority, Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera, Velocity EHS, etc.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interacting with a global footprint preferred

  • Multiple language skills a plus
