Practice Details

Seeking a Clinical Health Psychologist specializing and/or experienced in Pain Management to join the Pain Clinic. We are looking for a psychologist interested in joining an integrated department of fellowship trained pain medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, chiropractors, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians and other specialists as needed to address the physical and emotional components of pain for the patients we serve.

Requirements:

  • Must have completed an APA accredited internship, ND license eligible

Practice Details:

  • Build an integrated care delivery model to work alongside medical providers to help identify, assess, and assist in the management of adult patients experiencing chronic pain.

  • Evaluate patients being considered for treatment with implantable pain control device (e.g., spinal cord stimulator or intrathecal medication pump)

  • Provide psychological testing (e.g. MMPI-2), interpretation, and evaluation of patients

  • Develop and maintain a group psychotherapy program and carry a caseload of individual psychotherapy patients

  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, execute, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans that include shared goals with measurable outcomes.

  • Administrative time will be provided during the first two years to help create an integrated model of care.
