Job Summary

Supports the day-to-day operations of branches that provide Natural Gas and PVF (Pipe, Valve and Fittings) products to our customers by analyzing warehouse reports regarding MTR (Mill Test Results) and CoC (Certificate of Compliance) documentation, MTR, CoC and ASTM naming conventions, and attaching vendor provided documentation. Responsibilities

Essential functions Provides training support for MTR and CoC processes for the sales and warehouse areas Reviews MTR and CoC identified materials in the system and confirms documents are attached Requests required documents from the vendor Attaches documents received from the vendor or the branch to the correct materials in the system Supports traceability of MTR, CoC, and ASTM needs for Border States, as needed by using warehouse reporting tools to verify attachments and correct naming conventions Supports the material recreate steps by managing material certificates, bin locations and inventory movements along with timely communication to the branches on the changes Supports specific branches that are onboarded to the centralized support process Collaborates with branch employee-ownerrs, regional operations, and other applicable areas to resolve complex issues related to the MTR, CoC and ASTM processes Ensures DR How documentation and training material related to MTR, CoC and ASTM materials are kept up to date. Non-essential functions Takes an active role in major business projects such as acquisitions or new branch startups when the local market has a gas or PVF product focus Travels to existing and new branches for training, setup, sales, and other needs as assigned when the local market has a gas or PVF product focus Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate Works with SAP team in testing, documenting, and training of new functionality related to MTR, CoC or ASTM processes Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate

Qualifications

Minimum of a two-year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience with strong knowledge of natural gas and/or PVF products and vendors, industry experience and market knowledge and/or comparable education or experience preferred. Minimum 2 years prior experience in warehouse distribution preferred Working knowledge of PC Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) Internet, Email and SAP software preferred.

Excellent customer service skills, including being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged. Ability to perform all aspects of the job as accurately and efficiently and safely as possible.
