Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Leader to join our Development team at Qualitrol. The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional team including procurement, design for quality, and process engineering to transition product designs (both software and hardware) from development to mass production. This team will ensure a successful transition to production that includes delivering a manufacturing cell design, equipment specification, quality test fixture design, all process documentation, and system configuration including ERP configuration and associated supply chain setup to meet safety, quality, output, and cost expectations.

Your Impact & Key Responsibilities: In this position, the individual will utilize their expertise in manufacturing engineering to ensure seamless transition from product design to mass production. Their primary focus is to deliver a manufacturable product design that meets quality standards and operational efficiency.

Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiency:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team including procurement, design for quality, and process engineering.

Manufacturing Cell Design: Develop and implement manufacturing cell designs that optimize production efficiency and quality.

Quality Test Fixture Design: Design and develop quality test fixtures to ensure product reliability and performance.

Process Engineering: Oversee process engineering activities to ensure manufacturability and scalability of product designs. Use of statistical tools for process and design optimization.

System Configuration & Documentation: Ensure system configuration and documentation are key deliverables for transitioning the process from development to production.

Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, operations, and other stakeholders to align strategies and ensure successful product launches.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.

Quality Requirements: Define clear quality requirements for production testing against CTQ (Critical to Quality) parameters.

Innovation & Technology: Engage with cutting-edge technologies and drive innovation in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology).

  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process engineering.

  • Experience with industrial automation, including PLCs, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.

  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field.

Experience in transitioning both software and hardware product designs to mass production.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 101,500.00 - 188,500.00
