Job Description:

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has opportunities for motivated, customer service-oriented professionals to support the implementation of U.S. EPA’s Office of Water’s Safe Drinking Water data reporting system.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Provide day-to-day support for Safe Drinking Water applications

• Communicate and work with primacy agencies to resolve technical issues and data quality/reporting issues

• Work closely with all other stakeholders to resolve issues

• Work with system engineers to report and fix issues

• Troubleshoot and escalate issues

• Research and analyze technical and policy issues

• Develop technical documentation and perform project planning to support

• Analyzes user needs

• Resolve advanced technical problems

• Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems utilizing historical documentation

• Maintain and update records and tracking databases

• Assist in the development of best practices and training materials

• Document issues, resolutions, lessons learned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Strong candidates are:

• Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JIRA, and CRM

• Prior support in a global or enterprise level environment

• Able to thrive in a high energy environment that requires an ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Strong verbal and written communications

• Team player who welcomes opportunities to collaborate with others

• Solution-oriented with strong customer focus skills

• Able to narrow down root cause to data quality or application component. Familiarity with AWS tools and Qlik reports is a plus

• Familiar with Safe Drinking Water regulations and reporting is a plus

You MUST have:

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate’s degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.

• SECURITY LEVEL CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.

• CITIZENSHIP: US Citizen

The likely salary range for this position is $52,603 - $87,859. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
