Insight Global Raw Materials Consultant - Raman Spectrometry in Exton, Pennsylvania

Job Description

One of our pharmaceutical clients is looking to hire a Raw Material Consultant to join their Quality Control organization. This individual will be required to have extensive knowledge of Raman spectroscopy as it is being implemented into the Quality Control team. They will be responsible for:

-Interpreting and explaining results to internal and external customers.

-Working in conjunction with analysts and technicians to ensure a seamless transition from raw sample to results.

-Assisting with special projects requiring long term testing or very specialized technical skill.

-Problem solving related to procedures or instrumentation to maximize efficiency and lifetime of equipment.

-Preparing reagents, standards, and samples of various matrices to be analyzed on instrumentation.

-Following strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and follows Good Laboratory Practices to ensure the safe generation of high quality and reliable data.

-Leading development of new procedures or techniques, which significantly enhance work quality or cost effectiveness.

-Leading preventive maintenance on instrumentation to maximize instrument lifetime.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor degree in scientific or engineering field

-Strong Experience and knowledge working with Raman spectroscopy within a lab based enviornment

-Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures, precautionary laboratory measures, and GMP Manufacturing procedures

-Must exhibit excellent problem resolution skills

-Must be able to work independently and as part of a team -Experience working with biologics null
