Greystar Sr. Maintenance Technician - Roving Team North in Everett, Washington

The Greystar Flex Team is a group of specialized individuals who excel in their roles. The team's main directive is to serve Greystar when and where needed around the greater Seattle area to assist communities and onsite teams with day-to-day operations, audits, financial reporting, service requests, annual inspections, and flex projects. The Flex Team is an amazing opportunity to experience all asset types Greystar has to offer, to connect & work with a variety of people, and to really FLEX your skills. Joining the Flex Team exposes team members to a wealth of knowledge & opportunity -- and we are so eager to share that with you! This team member will focus on serving Greystar communities the North region of Western Washington. This includes areas such as Everett, Lynnwood, Mukilteo, Bothell, Shoreline, Lake City, Ballard, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and Downtown Seattle.

* *The hourly range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00

The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for employment at the time of posting. Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

What your day might look like

  • Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service
  • Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner (including appliance repairs)
  • Prepare apartments for new move in's by completing "make-ready" process
  • Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas
  • Assist with vendor management and other duties
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment

What we are looking for

  • Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
  • Previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing
  • High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
