A-1 Services Inc Service Tech/Driver in Eveleth, Minnesota
Service Tech/Drivers working for A-1 Services Inc. pump septic and holding tanks, non hazardous sediment traps, and grease traps as ordered by customers of A-1 Services Inc. As part of their job they are required to take care of the tools they are using including the service vehicle they are driving. This position is Full Time in Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter is Part Time. Typical schedule is M-F with rotational Weekend On Call. Responsibilities: Perform Vehicle (Truck) Check Review Call Sheets and Task Lists Travel from site to site within a 60 mile radius Inspect ISTS and surrounding area prior to pumping the tank Use a tank agitator Pump tanks Haul the liquid waste to a disposal site following the proper procedures Keep Service vehicle clean and maintain tools used on the job Perform plumbing services such as line cleanings/thawings, pump repair/replacements, etc. Assist company mechanic with maintaining vehichles Complete daily paperwork Communicate with customers and co workers May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements: Class B Drivers License Tanker Endorsement Airbrake Endorsement DOT Medical Card Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs without assistance and to push and pull up to 150 lbs. Ability to perform tasks in all types of weather conditions. Must be mechanically inclined Must be able to work drug and alcohol free. Must be willing to attend MSHA training and other required safety training. Must observe the work site area and document any safety hazards
