ASM Global Kitchen Worker/Cook in Evansville, Indiana

The Kitchen Worker/Cook position works in the kitchen and concession stands preparing food items for the facility events, responsible for cleaning of all kitchen equipment and helps facilitate all plate-up and delivery of all food for the prospective functions. This position is part-time and hours are driven by the Old National Event Plaza’s event schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Prepares food items for the facility events, both in the kitchen and concession stands.

  • Facilitate all plate-up and delivery of all food for prospective functions.

  • Assists in cleaning all serving equipment and utensils.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure cleanliness in all areas.

  • Set-up and breakdown of all food for banquet buffets.

  • Clean all food and beverage prep and servicing areas, which include kitchen and back hallways.

  • Maintains all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment

  • Ability to work well and as a team with other staff members

  • Must be results oriented with the ability to meet the required timelines

  • Must be knowledgeable of and adhere to local health codes

  • Ability to be creative with food presentations and maintain a quality product

  • Have an exceptional attention to detail

  • Understanding of basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    This position requires stooping, lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30lbs on a regular basis.
