We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Evans, Georgia. This role involves transaction level accounting, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and financial analysis. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to grow and take on more responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all transaction-level accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations

• Review and approve accounts payable processed by junior team members

• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions

• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with team members and management to streamline accounting processes

• Utilize strong general accounting skills to maintain financial health of the organization

• Leverage cost accounting and analytical skills to aid in financial decision-making

• Gain experience with ERP and use it to facilitate accounting processes

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data

• Perform month-end close procedures and ensure adherence to GAAP Accounting principles.

Requirements

• Must have a firm understanding of GAAP Accounting principles

• Proven experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Proficient financial analysis skills

• Skilled in Cost Accounting processes

• Experience with Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Knowledge and ability to manage General Ledger

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries

• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures

• Must be well-versed in using Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes
