We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Process Plants unit and contribute to expanding our client/project portfolio in Europe.

The position is home-office based, preferably in Germany but anywhere in Europe is possible.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Sales Responsibility : You will be responsible for selling chemical process plants and systems in Europe, conducting technical and commercial negotiations.

  • Applications : You will present our products and services, with a focus on sustainability in various applications (such as solvent and chemical recycling, wastewater treatment, separation and purification of chemicals and fuels from alternative and sustainable sources).

  • Customer Relations : Building strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding market challenges.

  • Technical Consultation : Working closely with customers to understand their requirements and develop customized process solutions based on our mass transfer technologies, including distillation, extraction, evaporation, and pervaporation.

  • Team Collaboration : Close collaboration with our application experts in Switzerland for proposal development and customer support.

  • Market Awareness : Staying informed about industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies. Based on your market knowledge, you’ll develop effective strategies for further market penetration and growth.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical process engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales for complex solutions preferably for process systems in the chemical environment.

  • Knowledge of the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or (bio)refinery industry is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Fluent English skills, preferably also German, and any other language a plus
