Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Erlanger, Kentucky

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk on a contract basis to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Responsibilities: Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, as well as resolving any discrepancies associated with the same. Timely and accurate processing of payment transactions including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments. Maintain vendors by updating and verifying necessary data, such as W-9 forms and payment methods. Collating and entering invoices into the accounting software. Interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth process flow. Reviewing all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate billing records. Ensuring the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to accounting software. Must understand basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact successfully with vendors and employees. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high volume environment. Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize workload. Note: This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business need.
