Role Overview: W e are seeking a dynamic Senior Developer (f/m/d) to join our DevSecOps team. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing solutions to fully automate our release process, enabling seamless continuous deployment. You will provide governance, best practices, tools, and services to support ecosystem teams in their continuous delivery efforts.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of topics and technologies across our end-to-end development process, including coding, security, testing, operations, documentation, compliance, monitoring, and alerting. Additionally, fostering the right mindset and culture will be crucial in enabling the teams.

The goal is eliminating all manual steps from our release process, whatever it takes!

Your responsibilities

• In your new role, you will design, implement, and maintain automated processes to improve our continuous delivery

• You will lead the integration of security practices into the CI/CD pipeline and overall software development lifecycle

• Identify and integrate new tools into our pipeline to improve code quality, security, and compliance will also be part of your task area

• Review and define our infrastructure and application architecture is in your responsibility

• As a team player, you are open to work with pair programming and share your experience

• Furthermore, you will support in monitoring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient operations of our applications

• Besides acting as a collaborator with cross-functional teams, you are also responsible for ensuring the alignment and integration of DevSecOps practices

Your Skills and Experience:

• A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is part of your educational background

• The basis for your success isa longterm full stack development experience and proficiency with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices and Git

• Your skillset encompasses DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure management, with deep knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and other aspects like Terraform, Python and Linux Administration

• Besides, you have a solid technical background, with an understanding of software development and web technologies, and mastering CI/CD methodologies and IaC

• You bring skills in the use of Agile methodologies, demonstrating a deep understanding and experience working with Scrum teams

• Development best practices like ATDD, BDD, TDD, FDD and pair programming are familiar to you

• Both serverless and non-serverless microservice architectures fall within your experise

• You convince with excellent analytical abilities, with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making

• Moreover, a security-First Mindset is a must-have and an integral part of all your activities

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability of convey complex ideas effectively are among your strenghts

• It is required that you have proficiency in English, and German is nice to have

• Finally, you are characterized by a strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
