Robert Half Quality Systems Manager in Ennis, Texas

Description We are offering an opportunity for a detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our team in Ennis, Texas. In this role, your main focus will be maintaining the Quality Assurance System, including managing and maintaining compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) for company, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on quality data, managing the calibration system, and maintaining all Quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain compliance of the QMS for company, customer, statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct and lead internal/external QMS audits, out of specification (OOS) investigations, deviations, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Provide support for development and Quality Assurance environments as well as manage test and production servers under strict change-control policies.

• Monitor and report on quality data for CAPA, Non-Conformance Report (NCR), complaints, material reviews, equipment calibration/Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) trending.

• Manage and report monthly quality systems Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track improvement projects.

• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which includes contacting/training the workforce when changes are made.

• Management of the calibration system, issuing and recording process deviations.

• Initiate, follow, and distribute Trials and their results.

• Report daily and monthly Quality Index information.

• Communicate information associated with product quality and improvements to the workforce.

• Maintain all Quality documentation in a highly organized fashion.

• Assist with the daily management and maintenance of the quality system which can include assignments that may require off-hour or weekend work.

• Maintain scrap recipes, evaluate performance changes, reason, and auditing of charges. Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science -Degree or equivalent experience; Metallurgy/Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Business Management preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.

Proven written and verbal communication skills, including Quality Manual and SecondTier Procedure Writing skills.

• Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.

• Strong leadership and managerial skills.

• Strong problem-solving and proven decision-making skills.

• Ability to interact with all levels of our organization.

• Ability to communicate professionally with Benoit’s customers.

• Ability to work in a team environment with proven interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of Threading processes: Seamless and ERW.

• Initiative to identify areas, propose and initiate solutions.

• Ability to multitask.

• Experience in the management of 6S projects.

• Two years of Quality Assurance experience preferred.

• Familiar with Quality Management systems, preferred.

• Certified Quality Auditor, preferred.

• Experience in ISO 9001/Quality, API 5CT, API Q1 Standards, preferred.
