• Analyze blueprints, other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.• Calculate various equipment requirements by the layout of premises and based on sale specifications and room sizes, including speakers, amplifiers, video and audio extenders, IR systems, control systems.• Prepare estimates and verify required power per equipment rack.• Prepare estimates for length and quantities for specific systems and proper wire type.• Prepare estimates of patch panel sizes and networking equipment quantities based on equipment rack layouts.• Coordinate changes and adjustments to cost estimates with sales staff.
