Job Title: Journeyman Carpenter

• Pay: $30-35/hr. (DOE)

• Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays), 50-60 hours per week.

• Current Project Location: South Denver

• Will be working on school projects.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for a general contractor on commercial projects, particularly in all phases of construction for projects such as schools. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other trades and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work in all phases of commercial construction projects, including framing, drywall installation, finishing, trim work, punch list and safety carpentry.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.

• Work closely with project managers, other trades, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman carpenter, with a focus on commercial projects such as schools.

• Proficient in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, drywall, finishing, and trim work.

• Must have own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certification from CITC or a union apprenticeship (preferred but not required).

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred but not required).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
