Dairy Farmers Of America Blow Mold Operator in Englewood, Colorado

Meadow Gold Dairy has immediate job openings for well-versed Blow Mold Operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines. Meadow Gold Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers. COMPENSATION/SHIFT $24.12 (Increase to $26.80 within the first year) Tue-Sat 6AM-2:30PM JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles Operate bagger and debagger stations Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blowmold equipment Train others on blowmold operations Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficienc Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED preferred Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
