ManpowerGroup Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Elkhart, Indiana
Our client, a leading wholesale distributor of building and industrial products, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the shipping and receiving department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay Range: $19-21 Depending on Experience
What's the Job?
Support the shipping and receiving department with various tasks.
Manage routes in Agility and schedule inbound receiving loads using OpenDock software (Oracle).
Organize and scan pick tickets, delivery tickets, and stock receiving documents.
Work closely with the warehouse supervisor on inbound/outbound shipments, will calls, and other customer service issues.
Process move sheets and inventory sheets using a warehouse mapping system.
What's Needed?
Strong skills in planning, organization, communication, problem solving, and decision-making.
Excellent telephone skills and ability to evaluate and act on issues.
Proficiency in using logistics software (Agility, OpenDock, Oracle)
Experience in inventory control, material handling/storage, and familiarity with building products is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technology/tools.
2 years prior experience in a related role.
