Position Summary:

This position is the primary point of contact helping customers find information in our products, or obtaining additional information from a variety of resources. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, loves cars and automotive work but prefers to work in an office environment.

Position Responsibilities - other duties may be assigned:

•Research automotive information for automotive technicians using factory service manuals, electronic media and manufacturers websites.

• Utilize proprietary systems to format data and prepare for distribution.

• This position has no direct reports.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2 years professional automotive repair, service writer or auto parts experience

• 2 year vocational school graduates may be considered in lieu of hands on experience

• Familiar with automotive makes, models, systems, components and manuals

• Customer service experience is a plus

• OEM training programs, ASE certification or smog license is a plus

• Bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus

The salary range for this position is $38,200 - 63,800. When extending an offer of employment, ALLDATA considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, company financials, as well as external market and organizational considerations. Compensation Range (USD): MIN 38200.0 - MID 51000.0 - MAX 63800.0
