Supply Chain Planner, Elgin, IL (ONSITE)

Kelly Services is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to assist with releasing orders to the floor for the factory to process, analysis of on-hand inventory and shortages which will prevent production, presenting data at daily meetings. Needs to have supply chain knowledge and experience and skilled in Oracle GF-EBS (Greenfield), Google Sheets, Tableau for one of our top clients.

Length: 06/03/2024 to 10/04/2024

Type: Contract W2

Pay Rate: $40.00/hr. (W2)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM

Interview Process: 2 Google Meet 30 minute Video Interviews

Training: Yes, 1 month

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Apply a structured Planning methodology and release Hardware and Software Orders that impact Elgin Factory and Contract Manufacturing partners

  • Assess Inventory, Shortage, Excess and Obsolescence

  • Create Planning strategy working with various stakeholders including Supply Planning

  • Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation for Supply Shortages

  • Consult and coach team functional members

  • Support communication efforts

  • Support and engage senior leaders when and where necessary

  • Coordinate efforts with continuous Improvement working with team members

  • Be proficient in Blue Yonder Factory Planning Tool, Tableau, Google Sheets and Oracle EBS system

  • Track and report issues

  • Define and measure success metrics

  • Actively improve processes and participate in Kaizen

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 4 years Bachelors Degree with Planning Experience

  • Experience and knowledge of Planning principles, methodologies and tools like Blue Yonder Factory Planning, Oracle EBS, Tableau and Google Sheets.

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Excellent active listening skills.

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Forward looking with a holistic approach.

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of Planning Tools and factory processes.

  • Familiarity with Planning approaches and phases of product life cycles

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with factory planning tools or methodologies
