Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

Seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery, including but not limited to printing presses, die cutting machines, flexogluing, and packaging equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance such as oiling, lubricating, and greasing machine parts. The technician will also utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to aid in troubleshooting and will employ hand and power tools, volt meters, and electrical testing tools to complete repairs. General building maintenance duties are also included.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s) OR direct hire.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elgin, Illinois.

Work Environment

Openings on second shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm and third shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. The facility is very clean and organized with plenty of open space, though not temperature controlled. Maintenance team members are required to work overtime and often on Saturdays. Initially, overtime may not be required as the team is being built out, but will become a necessity.
