Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various assembly tasks, ensuring quality control, and working collaboratively with others. This position requires you to be on your feet throughout the day and to be willing to be cross-trained in multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Documenting received items in the Receiving area

• Performing manual factory resets

• Conducting automatic tests by plugging in units to determine necessary repairs

• Executing Wi-Fi tests

• Conducting elevated temperature tests

• Performing cosmetic cleaning and repairs

• Ensuring quality control through In Process Quality Control (IPQC)

• Kitting items for shipment

• Building pallets and packing out for shipment

• Shipping completed kits

• Scanning parts at every step of the process

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfortable being on feet for the entirety of the day

• Ability to work collaboratively with others

• Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hand dexterity

• Punctuality

• Experience with assembly, packing, repair, soldering, testing equipment, RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power tools

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
