Job Title: Assembler 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Assembler for our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate should be comfortable being on their feet for the entire day and willing to be cross-trained in various areas of our 12-step process.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: Documenting received items.

• Factory Reset: Manually pressing a button to reset units.

• Automatic Test: Plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs (60-90 minutes cycle time).

• Wi-Fi Test: Conducting Wi-Fi functionality tests.

• Elevated Test: Performing temperature tests.

• Cosmetic Clean: Cleaning the units cosmetically.

• Cosmetic Repair: Conducting minor cosmetic repairs.

• IPQC (In Process Quality Control): Ensuring quality control during processes.

• Kit: Assembling kits.

• Pack Out/Pallet Build: Palletizing items for shipping in kits.

• Ship: Preparing items for shipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, packing, retail, repair, refurbishing, stock management, quality inspection

• Proficiency with soldering, test equipment, RF scanner, computer use, blueprint reading, power tools

• General labor experience

Work Environment

You will be working in a brand new facility built specifically for our operations. The site includes a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The location is conveniently situated 0.5 miles north of I-90, 0.5 miles south of Route 72, right off Randall Road, and close to gas stations and restaurants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
