Job Description

An employer is looking for a TS/SCI Senior Space Systems Engineer supporting a DOD customer in El Segundo, CA. The engineer will work within the Futures divisionof theSpace Systems Integration Office.They will be involved in the technology development to improve the number of successful technology plans and the eventual investments and projects that meet technology needs for Space Systems. They will provide direction to senior government officials that includes technologydemand signalidentification;technology assessments; andtechnical supportto solicitations and offerings. Duties will also include engineering evaluationof technology performance (technical performance measures), maturation timelines (roadmaps) and the criteria and mechanism to transition to technology for acquisition programs.

Paying $95/hr- $115/hr depending on experience

Skills and Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance

• Master's Degree in STEM with 10 years or Bachelor's with 18 years

• 10+ years of experience in space systems engineering

• Experience supporting a space program in a SETA, SE&I, or FFRDC capacity

• Understanding of DOD Acquisition processes - Recent experience in NSDC, NRO, AFRCO, SpRCO, DEL9, DEL6, STARCOM, or related areas

• Prior DoD Satellite Operations experience null
