Position Description:
Performs highly skilled mechanical and/or analytical duties in the coordination and completion of projects. Provides classroom support prior and during class. Process incoming requests through ticketing system. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions:
Providing classroom support for lectures and meetings. (WebEx, Zoom).
Maintaining Classroom Technology computers updated and on the domain.
Assist with room upgrades and provide programing support for small projects.
Process incoming requests using Sysaid ticketing system.
Assist other team members when needed.
Providing support for afterhours events during the week and on weekends when on rotation.
Keeping up with classroom equipment maintenance. Checking batteries and replacing when needed
Setting up for events indoors and outdoors requiring the lifting of speakers onto speaker stands and running cable
Assisting with offsite events requiring travel
Performs other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate orally and in writing with management, co-workers and customers.
Strong customer service skills.
Practical experience in setting up and installing equipment such as wireless microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for indoor and outdoor events.
Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office and other institutional applications.
Ability to participate in the implementation, installation, testing, and training of applications.
Extensive knowledge of Video Conferencing applications such as Cisco Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with instruction or training.
Ability to develop training materials and assist in conducting training.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field of study, such as Computer Science or IT. Three to five years of related application implementation, configuration, and support. Familiarity with Digital Signage, Microsoft Office, and Room Reservation applications
