Job Description

An employer in the San Diego area is looking for a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Land Development to join our team! This will be a client facing role and we are targeting a PE Licensed Engineer.

Meeting with clients to discuss and determine their project needs

70% Smaller size residential land development projects / 30% commercial projects

Implementing design studies to implement various Construction feasibility design from a Civil Engineering geometry and financial perspective

Progress in final construction documents and design studies

Provide cost breakdowns to clients

Clients: small builders or small commercial developers or private home owners to develop raw piece of land. Cool part of projects. Own their home, put a pool/pickleball court

Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Participate in the preparation and review of technical reports and documentation.

Help train and mentor entry-level staff under the guidance of our Principal Engineer and technology team.

Skills and Requirements

PE License

10+ years of experience in CAD experience within a civil engineering environment.

Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, or BricsCAD

• Doing grading, utility profiling, Preparing grading and improvement plans, and construction documents

• Drafting Annotation, layout of graded slopes, Retaining wall profiles, construction details, sheet set up

• Experience drafting Drainage/water quality exhibits

Will mentor lower level support staff, but would be the main point person null
