Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. ATC Specialist [Testing] for the FAA - PSS, supporting the Civilian Division.
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION: Egg Harbor Township, NJ
JOB STATUS: FT
TRAVEL: Yes, as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- 20 or more years of Air Traffic Control technical and operational experience in the En Route or Terminal environment
- Certification(s) required
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance; US Citizenship required for all candidates.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing training materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with requirements verification and tracking for new En Route and Terminal Air Traffic Control tools and systems.
- Assisting with identifying potential inconsistencies and usability issues as they relate to any changes in ERAM, such as the operational use of CPDLC, future Sector Enhancements and Tech Refresh.
- Assisting with testing development and execution.
- Interfacing with user teams, system engineers and other program personnel as necessary
- Producing briefing materials as required.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the FAA as needed.
