Job Description:

Receives, stores, and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure. Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.

Basic Qualifications:

· Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in a tool crib, maintenance/manufacturing environment, or tool inventory control position.

· Must be able to support a 4/10 – 3/10 working rotation, for first, second and third shifts to support operations, as required.

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work standing up for extended periods of time.

· Able to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Simple grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation is required.

· Able to use vibrating tools and perform torquing operations in include hand tools & power equipment and climb ladders or stairs.

· Must be able to handle, manage, and dispose of various types of hazardous materials in accordance with local, state, and federal processes.

· Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.

· Must possess a current, in-scope DoD Secret Security Clearance. Final clearance required to start.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access clearance within 365 days from date of submission; this is a condition of employment. Program Access required to start.

· Must be detail oriented, teamwork oriented, and have a strong work ethic.

· Must be able to learn and follow established processes and procedures.

· Experience with data entry, and proficient using digital scanners for tool control & inventory.

· Experience maintaining records and providing traceability of materials.

· Experience receiving tools, inspecting, verifying, inventory, cleaning, tracking for accuracy.

· Have experience with and comfortability using forklifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

· At least 6 years of experience working in a tool crib and/or production related environment.

· Intimate knowledge of TCMax® and/or similar tool control software systems.

· Prior aircraft flight line environment experience.

· Prior HAZMAT experience and relevant qualifications.

· Intimate knowledge of the workings of PMEL / TMDE / and calibrated tools and processes.

Salary Range: $53,000 - $88,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
