We are looking for someone to join us in the exciting and varied role of Operational Performance Lead on the flagship line at Leven. Line 24 is at the cutting edge of our business, producing 30% of Leven’s overall packaging output at around 12 million cases a year, this is a team operating at the highest level of manufacturing and FMCG performance.
We are looking for an energetic and proactive person to join the team to help standardise operating rhythm and drive consistent performance between the different shifts and teams that operate the line. Strong on process and keen to get stuck in, you will thrive when tasked with pulling groups of different people and skills together to achieve outstanding and transformational results.
A pivotal position, working alongside site Management, Equipment Owners, Engineering and Global Manufacturing Excellence – this is a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure across levels and disciplines, leading to many further opportunities around Diageo’s global landscape.
Key Site and Team Facts –
100+ Brands, 2,500 SKU’s & up to 40 million cases packed a year
Whisky, Gin, Vodka, Rum & a wide range of ready to drink products
Over 1.25m cases per week at peak
1100 people including 3rd parties
20 lines spread over three halls, with two new lines in the next 18 months

Bring consistency to Line 24 between shifts and teams. Performance, cadence
Implement significant change within a continuous improvement culture, supporting all Man Ex standards and practices
Coach colleagues in their area for individual and team development and lead step change in employee engagement
Delivery of balanced scorecard results in area to drive performance
Ownership of medium to long strategy for their area including CapEx and investment proposals to support productivity and performance improvement in line with the business strategy
Day to day running of the business across each area to ensure maximum efficiency
