In this role, you will be responsible for project managing the Design Optimization and Standardization initiative workstream as part of the Core Programs transformation. You will work closely with the manager of Design Efficiency to develop and mature the design optimization systems, processes, and practices. Come join our team today! #joinourteam What you will do: Develop of the Design Optimization Communications Plan: Ensure relevant information is effectively communicated to engineers, project managers, management, and for presentations. Create reports and communication packages. Establish a sustainable engineering lessons-learned repository and manage the communication package rollout. Develop and maintain Design Efficiency document repositories and systems to facilitate cross-team, collaboration, understanding, and information sharing using SharePoint and other tools. Organize the annual evaluation of Design Optimization initiatives and coordinate identification of continuous improvement opportunities for Core Program teams. Support and track design optimization opportunity ideation, value capture, and implementation to ensure we meet our goals. Identify and clear impediments to successful implementation of key opportunity initiatives. Support technical design review workshops and recommend opportunities to be prioritized to assess feasibility and define the opportunity value Support the project execution team in defining opportunities, assessing feasibility, assigning value, and creating a business case for the define opportunity. Who you are: Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in engineering, project management, business analyst or related fields. A combination of experience and education will be considered. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several workload deliverables concurrently and resolve issues in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective internal communications strategies that includes writing and editing skills. Experience in developing and implementing assessment methodologies, tools, and techniques. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in project management and construction, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Working Conditions: Office based. 10% travel.
