Here, you will make an impact by:Providing support and leadership for the manufacture of market leading healthcare products in the medical device fieldIdentifying, Initiating, recommending, and leading projects to improve product cost, service, quality, process safety, and health/environmental impactPerforming and guiding technical and validation activities related to new product development and product line extensionsLeading problem-solving events to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrenceMonitoring and improving manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology (design of experiments, statistical process control, lean management system, kaizens, DMAIC)Working closely with production and maintenance teams to perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment/downtime issuesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) OR High School Diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment (course work and internships considered)Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree or higher in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionExperience working in the medical device fieldExperience working in a GMP environmentDemonstrated project leadership abilities on highly technical and complex projectsWork location: Onsite (Eden Prairie, MN)Travel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
