C.H. Robinson LTL Supply Chain Engineer in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to join our LTL Consulting Team, focusing on expanding, improving and executing C.H. Robinson's best-in-class LTL pricing, benchmarking, procurement & analysis offerings. You'll directly consult with clients and network account teams, gathering data, analyzing trends and communicating with stakeholders. You will also consult with other CHR pricing teams to share best practices and evolve internal products. Join us to drive impactful LTL supply chain strategies and make a difference.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support of LTL Strategic Procurement & Analysis for Large LTL shippers by advising on procurement best practices, pricing strategy, and capacity solutions

  • Align and communicate with customer or internal stakeholders to gather information, voice of customer, scope, opportunities, deliverables and project milestones

  • Self-guided and can work independently to manage a project team responsible for defining scope, developing a project plan, tracking activities, reporting on progress and milestones and measuring results

  • Develop complex solutions and recommendations to address customer issues or opportunities using technical and industry expertise

  • Analyze historic and forecasted data to generate summaries, baselines and cost improvement opportunities

  • Generate appropriate communications for delivering project updates and summaries to internal and external audiences

  • Support LTL Enterprise opportunities and advise on LTL strategy in a consultative approach, utilizing the CHR LTL Benchmark product and advanced LTL pricing analyses

  • Continuous improvement and development of pricing products, analysis tools and revenue-management strategy

  • Provide Ad-hoc support for creation/customization of reporting & pricing tools

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in operations, customer service, and/or pricing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Fluency with Data: Strong analytical skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI and SQL.

  • Industry Knowledge: A foundational level of understanding of LTL and pricing dynamics.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with strong interpersonal, facilitation and consulting skills.

  • Ability to manage and translate business needs and priorities.

  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to multi-task several projects/initiatives and deliver results against hard deadlines.

  • Process Improvement Mindset: Continuously thinking of ways to advance current state of our products and think in long-term ways of scaling solutions.

  • Be a Trusted Partner: Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, partner and deliver at the most senior levels in the organization (and client’s organizations).

Compensation Range

$57,100.00 - $89,100.00
