Job Description

The HVAC Sales Manager is responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending the best HVAC products and services. The HVAC Sales Manager is responsible for creating estimates/quotes for the work they are recommending. The HVAC Sales Manager is responsible for selling the work and generating new work. The HVAC Sales Manager will also manage the HVAC team and assist with the scheduling of jobs.

Responsibilities :

  • Generate sales leads; promotes and develops maintenance/service agreements; estimates and generates bids for contract projects/work.

  • Prepares and presents quotes for add-on/replacement of equipment, preventive services and/or remediation, on request.

  • Schedules, directs, and provides technical support for HVAC technicians to meet service demands and customers’ expectations.

  • Ensure consistency and excellent service through oversight of daily routine activity, maintenance scheduling.

  • Resolves customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and issues regarding service technician performance.

  • Reviews and ensures accuracy of all billing, time sheet records, purchase invoices and job-related expenses.

  • Reviews technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques, and safety requirements; makes recommendations as requirements to improve quality and productivity.

  • Communicates daily with dispatch reporting on project information, estimated time to complete jobs, labor hours and parts or material used.

  • Maintains communication with vendors and factory personnel concerning warranty issues, product recall notices, operational problems with products, premature failures, and other issues as they apply to products and equipment sold and serviced by the HVAC Service Department.

  • All other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

  • 5 plus years of experience in HVAC Management, Estimating, or related experience.

  • A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

  • Strong attention to detail and a strong commitment to high quality of work.

  • Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills

  • Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays if required.

  • Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds.

  • Able to perform various tasks that may include standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc.
