Position Summary

The Department of Communication in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University invites applications for a 1-year fixed term faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The optimal candidate would be able to teach courses in organizational/leadership and strategic communication. Qualified applicants should have a social scientific focus, a background in quantitative research methods, and expertise to teach large undergraduate courses. Candidates will teach 3 courses per semester and engage in departmental service. Candidates must have a commitment to mentoring undergraduate students, teaching, and service.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Communication or a related field.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Communication or a related field.

Desired Qualifications

Qualified applicants should have:
