RN Unit Manager Day Shift with Sign on Bonus $3000
What You'll Do:
Exciting opportunity at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation in East Hartford, CT! Join our team as a Unit Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional healthcare within our nursing unit. Reporting to the Director of Nursing Services, you'll drive high-quality care, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Operational Excellence : Oversee daily unit operations, including staffing, budget management, and resource allocation to ensure optimal nursing coverage and efficiency.
Team Leadership : Recruit mentor, and empower nursing staff to deliver compassionate care and achieve clinical excellence. Conducting performance evaluations and implementing improvement plans to foster professional growth and enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise patient care, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless care transitions.
Maintain accurate documentation through supporting technological systems
Provide direct patient care, maintaining hands-on skills and setting an example for staff
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and staff to create a supportive and safe care environment

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a RN Unit Manager include:
State of CT Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure and CPR certification.
Previous experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation is advantageous.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
