Our Team

We have an amazing opportunity to join the Transmission Rates and Regulatory team. We are responsible for compiling inputs for various Transmission formula rate calculations.

The role is based in Berlin, CT.

Essential Functions

• Assists with the preparation of transmission revenue requirement calculations in support of transmission tariff filings
• Prepares reports detailing transmission transactions and rates to various regulatory agencies such as FERC and PUC
• Reviews recently released Final FERC Audit Reports and prepares for presentations
• Coordinates data request responses for the annual formula rate protocols.
• Contributes to departmental industry research, including formula rate protocols, in support of annual protocol process
• Calculates transmission service revenues for the annual budget and five-year financial forecast
• Executes activities and/or objectives in an accurate, timely manner and ensures a positive impact on colleagues and customers
• Keeps manager informed of issues, impediments, and progress
• Contributes to a positive, professional, cooperative and efficient work atmosphere and openly communicates work information to others in a timely manner
• Participates in the resolution of customer crisis/urgent problems as situations arise
• Delivers superior customer service

Technical Knowledge/Skills

• Basic accounting theory, functional practices and procedures and financial reporting
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses a high degree of personal ownership and accountability
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Demonstrated skills with MS Office
• Strong customer service orientation

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or closely related discipline required.
• Working towards a CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Experience

• 1– 3 years of experience.
• Experience in the application of revenue requirements theory preferred.

Working Conditions

• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
• Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
• Our hybrid schedule is 90 days in the office and then move to hybrid flexible schedule.

Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position starts at $63,850.00 to $70,940.00 , plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
