Maverick Barber School Licensed Barber / Cosmetologist Instructor in Eagle Pass, Texas
Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the schools barbering curriculum.
- Demonstrate practical barbering techniques, including haircuts, styling, beard grooming, and shaving.
- Teach theoretical concepts, including sanitation, safety regulations, and business practices.
Student Support and Development:
- Mentor and guide students, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering additional support when necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Compliance and Professional Standards:
- Ensure adherence to state licensing and regulatory requirements for barbering programs.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and practical evaluations.
Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and industry standards in barbering.
Operational Contributions:
- Assist in organizing classroom materials, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with school administrators to enhance the programs quality and effectiveness.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and student events. Qualifications:
Must hold a current and valid Barber Instructor License in Texas.
- Minimum of 6 months of professional barbering experience.
- Prior teaching or mentorship experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both practical and theoretical aspects of barbering.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
